ENGLISH CONVERSATION (accusing, blaming, promising, and admitting)

This is English conversation that used four expressions includ Accusing, Promising, Blaming, and Admitting.

On Sunday afternoon, Ayu went to home after working in her office and she brought something in her hands.

Bakti   : “Hey Ayu ! Where have you been?”

Ayu     : “I just working and shopping.”

Bakti   : “You must be tired Ayu. What did you buy?”

Ayu     : “Yes I am tired. I bought some food supplies for us so you can cook for lunch.”

Bakti   : “Ooh My God, I am not sure if I can.”

Ayu     : “Why? You can do it and it's easy. It's only to make fried bananas.”

Bakti   : “I doubt it. The last time I tried it. It was all over cooked.”

Ayu     : “Come on Bakti !. You can make it!.”

Bakti   : “I am not so sure wether I can. Last time when I made it, it was all over cooked and you were angry to me.”

Ayu     : “I promise if it happens again I will not be angry anymore.”

Bakti   : “Pinky promise?”

Ayu     : “Yes pinky promise!”

Bakti   : “All right then. Wish me luck! I am going to start now.”

Ayu     : “I trust you Baktis. You will not over fry your cooking this time.”

Bakti   : “Could you help me ?”

Ayu     : “Well... Let's do it together.”

Ayu and Bakti made fried bananas together. In a half of hours the fried bananas was finished! However Bakti remembered something that she had forgotten before.

Bakti   : “Ohh My God, I forgot that I have a group disscusion for English homework at 2.30 p.m. What time is it ? I must go to Dewi’s home right now ! Ohh God, this homework must be finished and collected to Mr. Sumarta on Monday morning.”

Ayu     : “Calm down Bakti. Now at 4 0’clock. Come on, I will help to accompany you to Dewi’s

home.”

Bakti   : “Thank you sister.”

Ayu     : “You’re welcome.”

At Dewi’s home, Galung and Dewi was working to finish the homework. They looked so busy.

Dewi   : “Where is Bakti ?” 

Galung: “Hi, Dewi. You look so angry. What happened?”

Dewi   : “I am angry with her.”

Galung : “Why are you angry to her?”

Dewi   : “Because she bring some of our assignment. She must be forget to come right now. This

assignment should be finished today.”

Galung :  “Hahh…. Really? How come?”

Dewi   : “She said that she want to finish it yesterday. She borrowed my flasdisk . She

should not have forgotten to return it to me this morning. It’s all her fault!!”

Galung : “Ohhh…. I know it’s her fault. But, I think you don't have to blame her.”

Dewi   : “So what should we do now?”

Galung : “Let’s  call her right now !”

Dewi   : “Okay… I’m sorry Galung, I don’t have much phone credit to call her. Please call

her, Galung.”

Galung : “Okay…  (On the dialog on phone) Hey Bakti, where are you now ? Why you don’t

come to our team work ? You must come to Dewi’s house right now. I will wait for 15 minutes.”

Dewi   : “What did she say?”

Galung : “She is on the way to come here. She will arrive here in few minutes. Let’s wait her.”

After Galung called Bakti, finally Bakti come to Dewi’s home.

Dewi   : “Hey Bakti, why you come late ? We have been waiting you for a long time !”

Bakti   : “I am so sorry Dewi. I forgot about our group disscusion. Because  I was making fried

bananas with my sister.”

Dewi   : “Forget ? You must be kidding me, didn’t you?”

Bakti   : “No, I didn’t. I’m really forget it. I’m sorry about that, Dewi.”

Dewi   : “You made us waiting here too long !”

Bakti   : “Yes, I know. So  I say sorry for that. I promise  I won’t  do it anymore.”

Ayu     : “Please stop quarelling ! My sister said sorry about it. So you should accept her apology

and now you must continue  the assignment.”

Galung : “Yes, that’s right. So that we can go home earlier.”

Bakti   : “Yes. That’s good idea.”

Dewi   : “Okay.”
